Scottish Whisky Kilkerran - 8 year Single Malt Mull of Kintyre Campbeltown Kiikerran derives from the Gaelic ‘ Ceann Loch Cille Chiarain’ distilled 8 year old whiskey, matured in oak, a clean light oaky flavoured Glengyle. Nose - a marmalade rich orange rhubarb ripe pear sweetness of brown sugar honey. Palate - enriched toffee, fudge cream with vanilla. Finish - sweet spicy with hint’s of aniseed and liquorice. Balblair - 12 year old Single Malt The 1790 Balblair distillery lies within sight of the Clach Biorach standing stone. On the misty shores of the Dornoch Firth. Nose - there are the signature Balblair floral and fragrant with zesty fruits such as oranges and lemons. On the palate it is full bodied, yet sweet and spicy in character, with hints of oranges, lemons, green apples, toffee and vanilla. Finish - The American oak, ex-bourbon barrels used in maturation impart toffee and vanilla. Kilchoman - 12 year old Single Malt Kilchoman is the first distillery to be established on Islay in over 124 years. The Inaugural 100% release has been aged in a combination of fresh and refil bourbon barrels for over 12 years . Colour : Light Golden Nose: Soft peaty aromas and a blend of citrus, lemons and pear drops Palate: An initial sweetness is followed by soft peat smoke and mixed fruits Finish: Long and clean leaving hints of peat smoke and mixed fruits.
